Kinesiology
New at Sandles! Kinesiology with Andy Asaro. What is Kinesiology? Systematic kinesiology has its roots in chinese medicine, and is a way of identifying the imbalances a person may have by monitoring their ability to hold their muscles against light pressure, a process known as muscle testing. each muscle relates to an organ or a gland, and also to an energy pathway called a meridian. Together the muscle, organ and meridian form a circuit. if the muscle tested does not respond as it should, this indicates an imbalance. A muscle test, as used by kinesiologists, does not measure raw physical strength and imbalances even show up in body builders! Once an imbalance is identified the Kinesiologist uses further muscle testing to obtain feedback from the person's body regarding the factors that are aggravating the imbalance, and what can be done to restore balance. Will i benefit from Kinesiology? Yes! Everyone can benefit from Kinesiology. you don't have to be ill to have Kinesiology treatments - it can also be used to balance energy and help maintain good health and well being. Kinesiology assumes that every health problem will include at least one imbalance, and that every imbalance will involve at least one component (biochemical, emotional, structural or energetic). Identifying such imbalances and treating holistically to restore the body's balance is what systematic Kinesiology is all about, so it can help with a variety of conditions: Allergies Anxiety and depression Arthritis and rheumatism Asthma Digestive problems fatigue Food sensitivities and intolerances immune strengthening muscular aches and pains Nutritional balancing and supplements Pre-menstrual stress/tension Phobias and fears Self esteem Skin disorders stress Subtle energy correction How does it work? the exact treatments you receive will depend on the feedback your body provides during muscle testing regarding what it needs to return to health. There is no guesswork with systematic Kinesiology. Kinesiology practitioners use a range of healthcare and complementary therapy modalities to detect and correct energy imbalances, including acupressure, bach flower remedies, chakra balancing, crystals, emotional stress release techniques, firm reflex massage and nutritional supplements.
